Spirit model It's time to speak about the final of 4 basic paradigms in Magick, the spirit model. The basic belief in this model is that everything is inhabited and governed by spirits. When I say everything, I mean literally everything, the air we breathe, the ground we step on, the juice we drink or cigarettes we smoke, everything has its own spirits. The path of spirit model is the path of prayer and rituals, in this model we do our best to get the attention of spirits, to please them and to gain them for our cause. Because everything is governed by spirits, spirits are who do the work, all we can do here is to make requests. To please the spirits we have to make offerings and to have more probability of our requests being fulfilled and our expectations met, we have to possess a spiritual authority. Introduction Spiritual protection is an important act in the occult, both against malevolent spirits and attacks of other occultists. Unfortunately it is one aspect of the art which isn't described sufficiently for young minds. So, this is the basic invocation I was talking about recently. You know, saying: ZI DINGIR ANNA KANPA, ZI DINGIR KIA KANPA repeatedly is fine, but unless you know the meaning it will have the minimum effects. So I have come with a simple litany that can be used during the day and that has a clear message of what do you want to achieve: "Spirits, beings of the Light and the Darkness, don't forget about me, stand by my side and do my Will." Simple, compatible with all 3 paths in Magick, easy to remember and gets strictly to the point, to gain the spiritual authority. In that manner it's actually better than ZI DINGIR, as ZI DINGIR only calls the spirits of heaven and earth so they remember. But you know, you can actually remember someone while not really giving a damn about him. This litany makes your fellow spirits a bit more pro-active.
