My little return

During time of my practice I have tried a number of various methods, exercises, spells, healing methods, etc. I usually keep with some practice till I learn and try it and then I move to next one.
Today was the very special day when I remembered some of my older techniques, more specifically I have finally recalled how I was working with Reiki in effective way. I like these returns to past :).

How to craft talismans/amulets

Introduction

I think you all know it. Amulets for protection, talismans and lucky charms are the most favorite magickal items all around the world. Countless people make their fortunes by selling these on eBay.

My personal belief is that a real Magician and a real sorcerer should be able to craft their own items. From wand up to the lucky charm, these are items you might want to use in your everyday life, crafting own items saves money and helps to develop some skill. No matter to say that custom item will have some serious mojo, compared to those generics sold on the internet.

What we need

1. Holder. Item created from leather, black silk or wood that will be worn on neck or somewhere near your heart as a container of the talisman.
2. Pen and paper. Yes, we will use sigil as the mojo container :).
3. Time to perform the Magickal part

Specify your intent

First of all, you have to specify intent of your accessory. For amulets you can use generic intent like “THIS MY WILL TO BE PROTECTED FROM ALL EVIL” or more specific one like “THIS MY WILL TO BE PROTECTED FROM TAXES”. Awaken artist within and he will lead to you success :).

In case of talismans, also we can use some generic intent, typically “THIS MY WILL TO HAVE SUPER LUCK” or, once again, “THIS MY WILL TO WIN LOTTERY ON SUNDAY”. Talismans are related to luck, success and achievements. For example you can create a talisman to get a raise and keep that talisman till its goal is completed.

If you are doing an amulet or talisman for someone else, make sure you modify the intent that they are considered. This is the main difference between crafted talisman and generics from eBay, by targeting one specific wielder, you enhance effect of the item.

Sigilize the intent

I believe there are enough materials on intent sigilization process that I can omit this part. In case of questions, ask :).

Charging the Sigil

When we have the complete Sigil, we should charge it. There are plenty of DEATH POSTURES and methods available on the internet to do this, so if you want to use those, use those :). I will describe one that uses the spiritual model.

First thing you should do is to center and ground yourself. That will help you to calm down and to connect to external source. After that is done, you should banish and cast a circle. After you are done with casting your circle, place your Sigil in front of you and start with following conjuration:

“O, talismanic spirits I summon thee. Come to this place and breath a life to my unliving Sigil. Grant my wish and let the Sigil be living, I call thee in name of [deity of choice], come to this place and do my bidding”.

Now comes that nice time where you should stand still with closed eyes and “feel” those precious energies all around you. Keep doing so for couple of minutes.

As next part start talking to our Sigil, this is an actualization process:

“O, my talismanic Sigil, who used to be a piece of paper. Life was put within you with help of talismanic spirits. Raise and be living. Act according to my Will and please me with results”.

Make a pause and “feel” the energies, once again, put a lot of belief into your doing :).

Ok, everything done. Send your thanks to talismanic spirits, to your deity, license them to depart, banish and open the circle. Put the Sigil into the holder and the whole process is finished.

Results of passing gate of Nanna

So, I was still unsure of the result so I made a reading upon my recent attempt to pass the first zonei of Necronomicon. Outcome of the reading was quite straight. Passing the gate would be fail if I believed so, result of such action matters a lot on your belief, belief is the key to the success, the actual key to attaining power.

It's probably the same as with crossing the Abyss, if I didn't believe in my success and if I omitted my experiences, it would be the same as if I never crossed the Abyss to begin with.

This whole experience changed my belief a lot. I don't have a simple belief, now. It's more like belief in my belief. Kabbalah helped to attain this viewpoint, too.

About willpower

What is a willpower

A lot of things were said about willpower in the past but topic wasn't explained really well. If our real Self is our Will, then the endurance of this Will is what willpower stands for. It's like a muscle strength for the muscle or a bullet for the gun.

Why is willpower important for Magicians

Willpower is a measure of affecting the world. Magician without willpower is like an artist without his tools or a musician without his equipment. Magician with stronger Will wins, same as a bodybuilder with stronger body can lift up more weight.

Willpower in history

You should have already heard some story of old shamans, going without food for months, keeping their bodies in cold water for days or even wounding their bodies in states of trance before doing their rites.
Reason is simple, willpower.
By specifying a task that is hard to achieve, and by achieving that task, you train your willpower, strength of your Will.

How to train your willpower

In modern society, we don't have time to go to wilderness for 40 days, we have to feed our families and ourselves, we have to pay taxes.
Fortunately, when you know that reason for being in cold water for a number of days is not about being in cold water for a number of days, but real reason is to do a difficult task, no matter what the task is, you can easily come up with your own training.

Do you smoke? Are you a chain smoker? Can you be without smoking for one day? That's very hard, but not impossible. But beware, make a task a difficult, but not impossible to maintain, if you fail, your willpower will go down, rapidly.

30 minutes rule

This is my favorite training method. Good old Czech Magick :).

1. Are you hungry? Wait 30 minutes before eating
2. Are you thirsty? Drink in 30 minutes
3. Are you tired and you want to go to sleep? Go for a 30 minutes long walk. During the walk you can remember all your good friends and old enemies and send positive thoughts in their directions.

Simple training way for very busy people

First of all, this is not a very effective way, it does have a minor benefits but compared to the 30 minutes rule or oppressing your habit for days, it is nothing.
Point is to simply specify what you are going to do before you do it.

Example:
I am going to brush my teeth in sake of increasing my willpower
And after brushing:
I have finished my task for increasing my willpower

I know it sounds retarded, but it works.

First zonei: Nanna

Yesterday I have tried to open the first gate of Zonei, gate of Nanna.
I am not sure about the result, I managed to retrieve some word, but I am not sure if it is the password to the gate.

During the ritual I got into trance and heard a female voice yelling "HELP", I wasn't sure about the origin of the voice so I quit the operation and went to check my family, everyone was fine.

By the way, Nanna is deity of Moon and I just read an article about Moon being very big from Saturday to Sunday. Quite interesting coincidence.

Important stories of Necronomicon

So, there are basically two important stories. Story of Mad Arab and story of the war between gods in Magan text.

Both stories give a very strong impression of fear and amazement at the same time. Read these stories and believe them, you will get the most useful tool a Magician can have. Power of belief. Both stories are made to erase that virtual border between Magick and reality, that limitation of your powers.

It doesn't really matter whether Necronomicon is thousands of years old or just few decades. Spirits described in the book are genuine and powerful, egregore of the book is interesting, too. Necronomicon is a modern book of dead names.

First day of Necronomicon

May, month I have associated with Necronomicon, started and I already have an experience to share.

I originally intended to re-read story of mad Arab and put my impression here, but it wasn't meant to be that way.

We have two old horses and one of them got sick. Perfect chance to test Necronomicon. While reading through book of Marduk's names we noticed there are no deities for healing. I solved this problem by Conjuration of the Fire God.

I have lit a candle and vibrated the conjuration, then I wrote a problem of my horse on a piece of paper and asked Gibil, Girra, Fire God to accept this problem as an offering, then I put the paper into the candle (I have used a tea candle in a decorative candle holder).

Then something unexpected happened. Flame split into two and paper was burning inside these two flames for good 20 minutes. New flames were appearing and disappearing, dancing around and going even beyond the range of the candle (slowly turning the candle holder into ashes). Flames were appearing and disappearing on the skulls on the holder. Smoke sometimes appeared above the flame and immediately vanished, more interesting was the view inside the candle. There was a stream of smoke going from nowhere to nowhere under the wax.

I have waited till the whole paper was devoured and two primary flames merged into one and then I petitioned the Fire God to leave and tried to extinguish this fire, yet another problem arrived.

I couldn't really distinguish the fire, any tries to blow it off or somehow steal its oxygen failed. Flame of the Fire God is truly a persistent one :D. I solved it by a full cup of water, pouring it into flames of wild tea-light candle, extinguishing the fire and revealing another mystery, the candle was now full of,  "snake skin?". Something similar in shape, color and pattern to snake skin was floating on the top of the candle's hot wax.

I poured a water into the candle again and went out to smoke some cigarettes and figure out what actually happened. Upon my return I found one and last gem, what originally looked as a snake skin now turned into a completely black shape of a bat (that winged creature). That was the last thing that happened during this experience.


And the horse? He is OK, now :).
